We run a Sunday School for children aged from 4 years upwards during our Sunday morning service. The children join in with the main service for the first twenty minutes and then go to the rooms above the Church hall for their activities which last approximately one hour.
The program varies from week to week and includes things like singing kid’s praise, news from the children, share time, craft around a topic from the bible, some interactive games, chat and activities around various biblical stories.
We have a small team of teachers and helpers which rotate over the weeks so the children very quickly feel at home.
In October we started a crèche which is held in one of the upper rooms above the hall during the Sunday morning service for babies and toddlers up to 3 years old. This starts along with the Sunday school at 10.50am.
We have a short story time, a song and some craft for the older ones followed by a play time with a selection of toys. The children are also offered a drink and a biscuit if they would like one.
There is a baby change facility in the main ladies toilets.
