The first step in putting your trust in Jesus is to give Him your life by praying a simple prayer…
Father God, I come to you in the name of Jesus your Son. I believe that He came and died for me on the cross to take away all of my sin. I confess that I am a sinner. Please forgive me for all of my sin.
Jesus, please come into my life and help me to live for you.
Thank you for washing me clean and giving me a new start.
Amen
Let us know if you have prayed this prayer and we can point you to some information if you would like it.

The message Christians bring, is that God loved the world so much, He gave His Son Jesus Christ to die on the Cross, so that whoever believes in Jesus will not perish but will have everlasting life.
On the Cross Jesus’ blood was shed for us. In His sacrificial death, Jesus took our place and He received the punishment we deserve because of our sin.
The Bible shows us what was obtained for us by Christ’s death on our behalf. In the New Testament when the Bible speaks of, “The blood of Christ,” or “the blood,” the reference nearly always refers to Jesus’ death on the Cross.

“Jesus took our place and He received the punishment we deserve because of our sin”.
(NIV) John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son.
(NIV) John 3:5 Jesus answered, I tell you the truth, no-
To fulfil this command is to believe what you have heard about who Jesus is and to believe that faith in Him is the only way to be saved from future judgment. This judgment is on those who have rejected God’s gift to this world, the sacrifice of His only Son whom He sent so that we could have direct access to God and receive eternal life from Him. To ignore the message is to reject His Son..
Believing in Jesus also means believing all that He said was true and therefore requires some action. He called us to turn from our sin, to tell others about Him and to spend time together with others who also believe. We would encourage you to find and become a part of a local Church that believes this truth and you will soon discover just how much God loves you and wants to bless you today and forevermore.
The first place to start is with the simple prayer in the left hand column. Check our resources page for materials which you may find useful.
